Eurotrash is a darkly comedic stage play about a mother and son on a chaotic road trip through the Swiss Alps as they attempt to give away their family fortune and escape their dark history. It is an adaptation by Colin Teevan of Christian Kracht's internationally best-selling novel, directed by Walter Meierjohann, and stars Ben Whishaw and Kathryn Hunter as the bickering duo, who must come to terms with their own and Europe's dark history while carting a plastic bag stuffed with cash through the snowy mountains of Switzerland. The English language premiere reunites the creative team behind the Young Vic's productions Kafka's Monkey and The Emperor, and the show is part of the Young Vic's 2026/27 season.
