A launch event opening the new exhibition "Penny Dreadfuls: How Londoners learned to enjoy reading" at Guildhall Library. Senior Librarian Melanie Srong gives a curator's talk on the themes of the exhibition and the stories behind the literature on display. The event lasts two hours and is in person, with access through the Aldermanbury entrance to Guildhall Library/The London Centre. Booking is essential.
