Film Africa 2026 is the Royal African Society's annual celebration of African cinema, running in London from 23 October to 1 November 2026. The festival brings together new voices, established filmmakers and essential works from across Africa and its diasporas. Its programme spans contemporary features, documentaries and shorts, alongside special retrospectives and conversations on African cinema. Films and events take place at venues across London and beyond, opening and closing at BFI Southbank.
