Flotsam is a family theatre show for ages 2 to 5, staged at Grand Junction. It is an OperaUpClose production presented by Half Moon, based on the picture book by David Wiesner. It tells of a curious child who finds a mysterious camera washed up on the beach, whose photos reveal children linked across time and space and an extraordinary underwater world of turtles carrying cities, dancing starfish and reading octopi. Kerry Andrew's new score and text blend music, movement and storytelling to explore curiosity, connection and imagination.
