A family opera for very young children, adapted from David Wiesner's picture book and staged by OperaUpClose at Jacksons Lane. It is presented by Half Moon Theatre, with words and music by the award-winning composer and writer Kerry Andrew. It follows Pip, a child who likes to play alone with treasures gathered from the beach, until an old camera sparks an imagination that conjures extraordinary underwater worlds. Guided by curiosity and wonder, Pip connects with other children across time and place and finds the courage to make friends; the show runs 30 minutes and is recommended for ages 2 to 5.
