A full school day at the Institut français immersing pupils in French culture, with a linguistic or cultural activity in the morning and a film screening in the afternoon for school groups from Year 6 to Year 8. It is run by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni's Language Centre, whose School Activities Manager Agathe Morisse can be contacted for details. The morning offers a language activity around the French comic book Les Enfants de la Resistance or a library session on books adapted for the screen. In the afternoon pupils watch Les Enfants de la Resistance, Christophe Barratier's 2025 film with Gérard Jugnot, Artus and Lucas Hector, in which three brave children resist the Nazis in the heart of France during the German occupation in World War II.
