An evening of music at Southwark Cathedral pairing the rhythms of the Argentinian tango with traditional Latin sacred verse. Wimbledon Choral and the City of London Sinfonia perform Martin Palmeri's MisaTango, Ginastera's Lamentaciones de Jeremias Propheta and Piazzolla's Estaciones Portenas, with echoes of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The three works explore sacred and secular worlds through music of colour, rhythm and emotional depth.
