Grief Together: Peer Support for Loss through Youth Violence is a peer support session for anyone carrying the loss of someone to serious youth violence. It is facilitated by Creating Conversations and the Vanguard/NHS violence reduction service and offers a safe, non-judgmental space held by the community, for the community, to come together and be heard. Open to loved ones, friends, family members, youth workers and anyone in the wider community touched by this kind of loss, with no pressure to speak. It includes a short talk from the Waltham Forest Vanguard Violence Reduction service, facilitators experienced in supporting people through grief and trauma, and information on local support options.
