Grupo Liberación is one of the most successful and beloved acts in Mexican 'grupero' music. The band was founded in 1975 in Monterrey, Mexico by Virgilio Canales Vela and has been performing for 50 years. Their sound blends cumbia, banda, Mexican chicano music and romantic ballads, with generation-spanning hits like 'Ese Loco Soy Yo,' 'Enamorado de un Fantasma' and 'Como Duele.' After winning over audiences across Mexico, the US and Central and South America, the band now comes to Europe for the first time.
