The Guildhall Cantata Project is a free evening performance of early-eighteenth-century cantata music. Harpsichordist James Johnstone directs Guildhall singers, keyboard players and lutenists from the Historical Performance department. The programme pairs voice and continuo in works by composers such as Johann Hermann Schein, Johann Rosenmüller, Franz Tunder, Dietrich Buxtehude and Adam Krieger. It takes place in the Milton Court Concert Hall and no tickets are required.
