An autobiographical performance based on the lived experiences of a Ukrainian soldier, combining storytelling, music, poetry, and traditional Ukrainian folk songs. Director Sandra Topolska and a cast of performers tell a story of courage, resilience, and the enduring roots of Ukrainian culture, as people faced with constant death search for meaning and discover unexpected strength within themselves. It asks timeless questions: what is there to be afraid of, and what does it mean to be confronted with something no one was ever meant to witness, for technology may transform the battlefield but does not alter human nature.
