Half Term Sketching Station in the Painted Hall is a self-led family activity during half term: sketchbooks and pencils can be borrowed to sketch in the Painted Hall while taking in Thornhill's masterpiece. It is run by the Old Royal Naval College, with family sit and sketch prompt cards on hand to help unlock the hall's stories and spark inspiration. Visitors can also design their own dove for the Peace Doves installation coming to the Painted Hall later this year. The resources are available throughout Painted Hall opening hours on a drop-in, first come, first served basis.
