A free particle physics seminar at Imperial College London, open to all on a first-come-first-served basis. Michael Revering from Cambridge presents the proposed ANUBIS experiment, which would instrument the ceiling of the ATLAS detector cavern with RPC detectors to extend the LHC's sensitivity to very long-lived particles. The talk covers ANUBIS's physics case, expected backgrounds, projected reach for benchmark models, and latest results from the proANUBIS demonstrator.
