It marks the launch of An Elite Education: How Privilege is Produced in a Private School by Emma Taylor, hosted by the International Inequalities Institute and Department of Sociology. A panel of scholars and activists, chaired by Professor Mike Savage, will discuss how these institutions cultivate a sense of privilege often mistaken for merit. Tiwa Adebayo, Annette Lareau, Lee Elliot Major and Emma Taylor are the speakers.
