An evening event with lightning talks and discussion for social innovators, charity leaders and funders, held in person and online, about growing an organisation so its idea can deliver real-world impact. It is the final event in a series run by Nesta, a research and innovation foundation, and chaired by its director of policy and government partnerships, Joe Owen. Speakers sharing practical lessons from scaling their own organisations include Sir Tim Smit, co-founder of the Eden Project; Becky Lane, co-founder of Furbnow; Philip Colligan, chief executive of the Raspberry Pi Foundation; and Tessa Clarke, co-founder of Olio. Topics cover building staff expertise and leadership, securing funding and the right financial model, and strengthening internal systems to sustain impact.
