HUMANHOOD - Vortex is a dance production in which the stage becomes the 'eye of the tornado', where rhythm unravels, gravity dissolves and energy converges. It is the new work by Julia Robert and Rudi Cole, performed by the international company HUMANHOOD, which they founded in 2016 and which is based in Birmingham and Barcelona. A cast of 7 dancers moves with precision and virtuosity, synchronised with a cinematic soundscape that resonates throughout the auditorium. The work reveals how humans can activate deep reservoirs of unexplored resilience to adapt, transform and evolve in any apparent chaos.
