An evening with award-winning writer, musician and broadcaster Jay Rayner, who returns to Backstory to talk about his latest book, Nights Out In The Kitchen: More Recipes and Stories From A Restaurant Critics Life. The book offers recipes sparked by dishes he has fallen for during more than a quarter of a century as a restaurant critic, alongside 20 of his own home recipes, from meatballs with braised spaghetti to tartiflette tart and slow cooked tandoori lamb shoulder. It is seasoned with stories from both sides of his life, from the problem with dinner parties to whether his many negative reviews make him a total scumbag. Ticket options include a ticket only at £15 or a ticket and book at £28, with the book to collect on the night.
