A piano recital by Junyan Chen, a multiple prize-winner at the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition, opening Wigmore Hall's Alex Ho Focus Day. She performs piano works by the British Chinese composer Alex Ho, alongside pieces by William Byrd, Karen Tanaka, Harrison Birtwistle and Sergey Rachmaninov. The programme, lasting about an hour without an interval, reveals the wit and heartfelt expression within Ho's art.
