L’Arche Drama Group presents "Vasilisa the Brave", a visiting show at South London Theatre. The play is based on a traditional Russian folk tale collected by Alexander Afanasyev, with a script adapted by director Laura Blundo, and is performed by a group of people with and without learning disabilities. It tells of Vasilisa, who after losing her mother sets off into a mysterious forest with her magical doll and meets Baba Yaga, the fearsome witch who can control time itself. Ticket sales fund future productions by the drama group.
