It looks back to the 1976 exhibition and conference 'Video: Towards Defining an Aesthetic' at Third Eye Centre, Glasgow, organised by Krikorian, which led to the founding of London Video Arts and included Marshall's 'Privileged View'. The exhibition re-stages Marshall's 'Privileged View' (1976) and Krikorian's 'Breeze' (1975), presenting them for the first time in fifty years and together for the first time, alongside historic works, recent archival recoveries, photo and video documentation, recorded oral histories, an archive display and a programme of short videos by both artists. Drawing on the artists' own archives, it takes a queer feminist approach to re-imagining their work and treats the archive as open rather than fixed, framed by its curators as an audio-visual fanzine created in a spirit of collectivity.", "url": "https://noky.io/en/london/events/late-night-conversations-stuart-marshall-tamara-krikorian-37114/", "official_url": "", "image": "https://noky.io/images/b156d517bd7d71a3177cb6b8560fd13a626f4d6b6b3fd65c7ce85315d8891909-2000.webp", "dates": [{"start": "2026-10-09T00:00:00+01:00", "end": "2026-12-12T00:00:00Z", "place": "LUX", "address": "Dartmouth Park Hill, N19 5JF London", "tickets": ""}], "similar": [{"title": "Marina Gržinić & Aina Šmid: Underground Experiments", "start": "2026-11-07T18:30:00Z", "end": null, "place": "Institute of Contemporary Arts", "address": "The Mall, London", "price": "", "price_from": null, "price_to": null, "tickets_url": "https://ica.art/shop", "category": "film", "tags": ["art/media-art/video-art", "film/experimental"], "description": "A cinema programme presenting six experimental video works made between 1984 and 1997.
