Directed by Alain Cavalier, it follows Klouk, a car salesman who must forgo a family holiday to drive a luxury Chevrolet to his boss's wealthy client, taking his friend Philippe along on the road trip from Lille to the Côte d'Azur. En route they pick up hitchhiker Charles and his friend Daniel, and the film features a short but central scene with Nathalie Baye as Charlotte.
