A pub night with live traditional Irish music played by a band of usually four to six musicians. It takes place at the Sir Colin Campbell, an independent Irish pub in Kilburn run by descendants of Irish émigrés, which hosts these trad sessions every Saturday and Sunday evening. The music features a big mix of instruments and songs, sometimes joined by customers who bring their own instrument or singing voice, with the session sometimes growing to more than ten players. Table reservations are recommended for those wanting a seat near the band.
