LOOSE ENDS special Hometown show with special guest Acantha Lang and hosted by Travis Jay is a concert by the British R'n'B band Loose Ends, who were formed in 1980 and signed to Virgin Records in 1981, with US Number 1 hits 'Hanging on a String' and 'Slowdown'. Led by founder member Carl McIntosh, who lives locally in Lewisham, the band play their first ever show in their home borough at the Broadway Theatre, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1986 single 'Slowdown' plus their greatest hits. They are joined by special guest Acantha Lang, a New Orleans-born, London-based soul artist and GRAMMY-nominated songwriter whose debut album 'Beautiful Dreams' reached number 3 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart, with the show hosted by Travis Jay.
