An exhibition presenting new work by Movana Chen, an artist based between Hong Kong and Lisbon whose practice is rooted in personal exchange and chance encounters. She collects found paper, maps, letters and documents into an evolving archive carrying traces of individual lives and journeys. In this new body of work, maps from across the world are shredded and knitted by hand into intricate sculptural forms, installed as a constellation that retains remnants of their geographic origins while dissolving their borders. The presentation accompanies her performance series 'Questioning the Line' at The Coronet Theatre, Notting Hill.
