Mad Dance Office is a lively South Korean comedy that mixes the dramatic gestures of flamenco with the wobbly steps of a woman in mid-life crisis. Guk-hee, a district office director played by Yeom Hye-ran, has worked all her life without a break, but is passed over for promotion through a colleague's interference, sees her workload cut, and watches her daughter move out. When she visits a flamenco studio for work, she finds an unexpected refuge. Director Cho Hyn-jin shows that loosening a stiffened body and following the rhythm might open a window to a new possibility of life.
