MADDADDAM is a multi-sensory three-act ballet based on Margaret Atwood's dystopian trilogy (Oryx and Crake, The Year of the Flood and MaddAddam). It is created by Wayne McGregor with an original score by Max Richter. The story is set in a near future where Earth has been changed by a bio-engineered apocalypse, and an unlikely gang of survivors must navigate this dangerous new reality. The ballet explores extinction, invention, hubris and humanity in a story that holds up a mirror to our world.
