Monday Morning Crafting is an open, group-led textiles workshop at The Create Place, where members sew, knit and alter clothes with mutual tutoring, cake and plenty of chat. Run for over 10 years by long-standing volunteers Sheila and Julia at St. Margaret's House, the group often turns discarded textile scraps into tote-bags for the charity shop with Ayoka, and has collaborated with the house's Arts & Wellbeing initiatives, including the Artist in Residence programme. Anyone can come along to work on their own textile project with like-minded crafters.
