Monthly History Tour is a guided walking tour through Abney Park, held on the first Sunday of every month. It is hosted by Abney Park Trust and focuses on the park's uniqueness, from its diverse permanent residents to its striking funerary architecture, as well as its historic dual role as burial ground and arboretum since 1840. Known as the 'middle child' of London's Magnificent Seven cemeteries, Abney Park has traditionally been the resting place of rebellious, radical and dissenting Londoners. The tour quietly celebrates that spirit in this community-focused green space and lasts about 90 minutes.
