Monthly Linocut with Christina Trenhaile is a relaxed, hands-on linocut printing workshop at Southlands Arts Centre, open to complete beginners and more experienced printmakers alike. It is led by Christina Trenhaile, whose popular linocut workshops at Southlands have earned a regular monthly slot. Working with simple carving tools, you cut a design into a lino block, roll it with ink and print it by hand to create bold, striking images. Each session stands alone, offering a calm, supportive studio atmosphere where you can work at your own pace with tools and materials provided.
