Mortelle is a French solo-clown show in which a sculpture comes to life to tell the story of Marie's journey alongside her mother, who died from Motor Neurone Disease. Clown performer and co-creator Marie Pichon Varin, who is both a clown and a sculptor, and director and co-creator Sophie Besse are behind it. Produced by the award-winning theatre company PSYCHEdelight, it uses poetry and humour to confront illness and death on stage. Performed in French, without subtitles, it runs 50 minutes and is recommended for ages 10 and up.
