A free public lecture exploring what the Bible says about the role of music in worship, how its freedoms and limitations apply to churches today, and how voices throughout the history of the Church have spoken about these matters. It is the second of four hour-long sessions led by Dr Daniel Johnson, Programme leader for the Worship Studies programme at London School of Theology, offering a biblical and scholarly perspective on worship. The series covers the theology, history, and practice of worship, and each session includes plenty of time for questions. Attendees do not need to come to all four sessions.
