Opening Night | Windows into the Unseen is the opening event of an exhibition of installations and window interventions at Deptford Lounge's library, lasting two hours. It is held by SHEROES Collective and brings together 16 women activist artists whose work confronts hidden and normalised forms of violence against women and girls, while amplifying stories of resilience, survival, and collective care. It marks 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, and is the collective's first public library exhibition. Visitors can see the work, meet the artists, and join the conversation turning the library into a space of visibility, reflection, and dialogue; all are welcome and children should be accompanied by an adult.
