Patisserie Femme is a satirical sketch comedy set in a spin-off of the Great British Bake Off tent, where sweet treats are out and mouth-watering women are in. Written by Jessie Diepeveen and directed by Elisabeth Tu, it is performed by Strange Kin Theatre with Jessie Diepeveen and Sadi Masego. Hosts, contestants and even pantry ingredients make funny and heart-wrenching confessions, laughing through uncomfortable themes without sugar-coating the injustices women face daily. The show premiered in South Africa, is a two-time Fleur du Cap nominee, and now plays in a brand new UK version.
