The Premium Globe Guided Tour is an exclusive guided tour of Shakespeare's Globe that takes visitors onto the Globe Stage itself. Run by Shakespeare's Globe, it lets you enter through the stage door into the tiring house and step out onto the stage, a photo opportunity only this tour offers. An expert guide then tells the story of the wooden 'O': how the original 1599 theatre survived plague, fire and political oppression and was rebuilt in the 1990s through one man's radical vision. The tour runs about two hours, is delivered in English and suitable for all ages, with the open-air tour going ahead in all weather.
