An illustrated talk titled "Preserving Southern’s Steam Heritage" by David Gibson, held as a hybrid lecture in person and on Zoom. It covers Southern Locomotives Ltd (SLL), one of Britain's most productive restoration groups, whose fleet stands at 7 Bulleid pacifics, a BR 4MT tank and two industrial locos. The talk covers Bulleid's work in the 1940s, how SLL evolved from 1982, and its 2024 decision to work charter trains on the Mainline.
