The RCM Chamber Orchestra performs an orchestral concert. Reinhard Goebel conducts, pairing Beethoven's Symphony no 3 'Eroica', widely seen as a turning point of Western music, with George Onslow's Symphony no 1, a neglected gem by a composer of English and French parentage who preferred instrumental writing over the operas his contemporaries composed.
