A film screening and discussion of 'Rebellion', a documentary about the Bradford 12. In 1981, twelve young Asian men in Bradford faced terrorism charges after making petrol bombs to defend their community from a racist skinhead attack; their trial sparked protests worldwide and ended in their acquittal, affirming the right to organised self-defence for oppressed communities. The film is by Migrant Media, co-directed by Tariq Mehmood, himself a defendant in the case, and filmmaker Ken Fero. The evening includes a discussion with the filmmakers.
