A special guided tour of the remains of the West Gate of the Roman fort of Londinium, hidden beneath the streets of the City of London. The London Museum runs the walk, led by its guide. It covers the gate's original use, its rediscovery after the Second World War and its preservation. Along the way, you step into a medieval tower garden to find out more about how Londinium was built and what life might have been like for Romans.
