Root and Branch Line is a series of walking and talking events along the Chessington Branch Line. Run by the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, it explores connections, real and imagined, between the line and the natural world. Participants read together, share stories and chart discoveries through conversations on the line and public walks from its stations. The collaborations will shape a podcast and a new map of the branch line by artist Helen Cann, both later displayed at Tolworth station.
