A free Saturday Talk at Serpentine North Gallery in which Chris Bayley, the gallery's Exhibitions Curator, gives an introduction to the artist Amar Kanwar. Kanwar, a New Delhi-based artist and filmmaker, has spent over three decades making lyrical films and multi-video installations that move between documentary, travelogue and visual essay. The talk accompanies a major solo exhibition that unfolds as a site-specific installation, bringing together new and existing films to transform Serpentine North into a meditative visual and sonic environment.
