Severndroog Castle History Project is a free monthly meeting held in the castle's Courtyard or Tearoom, open to anyone with an interest in history and no experience needed. It is a collaboration between the Severndroog Castle Trust and the University of Hertfordshire, aiming to reinterpret the Castle's history, catalogue existing materials, and explore its meaning as a 21st century community heritage site. Attendees can share memories, photos and stories of the castle, discuss its interpretation, and help gather community stories, with an oral history collection activity planned. The project is community-led, with academic support for workshops and research skills, and those unable to attend can contribute by email.
