Sherlock Holmes and the Twelve Days of Christmas is a festive murder-mystery comedy staged at Alexandra Palace, where performers are dropping dead in Victorian London's West End and Sherlock Holmes must uncover a sinister link between the killings and the famous song 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'. Directed by Philip Breen, the show premiered at Birmingham Rep in 2025 to rave reviews and features music by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Alongside his sidekick Dr Watson and rival Athena Faversham, Holmes races to save French Hens, recover Gold Rings and rescue Mother Goose before the killer strikes again. A farcical whodunnit spoofs classic detective stories with festive humour, making it perfect for the whole family, running 2hr 30min including one interval for ages 10+.
