SLBI Fungi Foray on Mitcham Common is an autumnal walk on Mitcham Common searching for and identifying fungi. It is run by the South London Botanical Institute together with Fabrice Boltho and friends, who lead the exploration of the common's fungi. Any knowledge level is welcome, and a hand lens should be brought if possible, though no dogs are allowed. The walk takes place outdoors on uneven ground, so appropriate footwear and layers are recommended, and the group meets Fabrice outside The Mill House Ecology Centre at 10.50am to set off.
