Social Wednesday is a weekly community evening of shared activities such as chess, board games, crochet, quilting and a reading corner. Poplar Union hosts it, with no instructors, so participants inspire one another and can share their own talents and ideas. Materials like wool, crochet hooks, books and quilting fabrics are supplied, and there is gentle music plus a tea and coffee area. It is for ages 18+ and you pay what you can.
