Space Hamlet is a glam rock musical comedy that blasts Shakespeare's Hamlet into orbit, with Norse gods, gladiator pits, space misfits, a golden robot and Muppet-like aliens running amok. Presented by Space Hamlet LLC and produced by R.C. Staab, Daniel Sturman and April Nash, it follows a sold-out 2025 run in Norwich by Open Door Theatre and has a Bowie-inspired score by Dan Sturman and R.C. Staab. A cast of eight actors stars Nic Gordon as Hamlet, alongside puppets playing aliens, monsters, courtiers and Norse gods. Everyone still dies, but with a lot more laughs along the way.
