A practice session called 'Speak like a researcher 1: making connections visible', part of a three-part workshop series on communicating research with confidence. It is run by Imperial College London through its Centre for Academic English (CfAE) and is open to all, with advance registration. This session focuses on turning conversations into opportunities: practising purposeful exchanges, finding common ground, active listening, recognising possibilities for collaboration and ending conversations with clear ways to stay in touch.
