Speculations is a new political thriller on stage at the Marylebone Theatre. Written by Torben Betts and directed by Trevor Nunn, it stars Janie Dee as journalist Dorothy Kilgallen in its world premiere. Set in New York in 1965, it follows Kilgallen as she investigates the deaths of Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy and Lee Harvey Oswald, refusing to accept the answers America has been given. Her search leads from Hollywood to the White House and the New Orleans underworld, while threats close in on her at home.
