A free exhibition in the church foyer marks 300 years of St Martin-in-the-Fields with unique objects, extraordinary video footage and stories from its past. The St Martin-in-the-Fields 300 Heritage Project, made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, also offers a new audio guide exploring seven sites in and around the church and crypt, four family days with hands-on activities, and an outdoor photographic exhibition on the edge of Trafalgar Square created by Jayne Lloyd, inspired by the sketchbook of congregant Vanessa Tinker, capturing 15 individuals' answers to the question: Why did you come? Why have you stayed?
