Stargazing from the Severndroog Roof is a timed night-sky experience on the castle's rooftop viewing platform. It is run with the Flamsteed Astronomy Society, whose members guide visitors through the castle, introduce astronomy and demonstrate a range of telescopes. In small groups of four, participants explore the night sky through telescopes and smart scopes, with red lights protecting night vision, and each session lasts about 40 minutes. It is for ages 12 and over, is weather dependent, and includes a hot drink afterwards.
