A study tour of the Sutton Estate in Chelsea, one of the country's oldest purpose-built social housing estates, which has been retrofitted. NLA runs the tour, in association with Civic, HTA Design and Clarion Housing Group. The project refurbished four historic residential blocks to deliver 81 high-quality social-rented homes with improved accessibility, wellbeing and sustainability, completed in 2024. Tour leads Rhys Williams of Civic and Caroline Dove of HTA Design will share the story of community engagement, design and delivery, including the sustainable drainage strategy, central community garden and landscaped areas.
